How does a real estate agent determine the value of your home? I strive to duplicate the criteria used by an appraiser. I search for homes similar in square footage, give or take 200 sf, similar in age - 10 years plus or minus, within a mile, with the same number of bedrooms and bathrooms, and th...

Which headline is accurate? Both? Neither? One story says people aren't able to purchase a home, but it says nothing about these prospective buyers' debt. Do they have a lot of bills? Do they have student loans? Do they have a down payment saved? (Minimum 3.5% of sales price) Then the other story...

Don't let your home become a fixer upper. When you're a homeowner, it's important that you stay on top of your home maintenance. Many times, I have seen a $5 repair become a $200 repair, but it got no attention at the start. Home maintenance can snowball on you if you aren't vigilant. And if the ...

Home staging - is it worth it? This home was in very poor shape. I assisted the out-of-town owner with getting bids to rehab it, coordinated the contractors, and oversaw the work. It is always a pleasure working with Rhonda. This was the second house that Rhonda has sold for me and in February we purchased a house too. She is smart, funny and easy to get along with. I trust her judgment and I trust her, which is something important for a real estate agent. She does not tell you something she thinks you want to hear - she speaks her mind and if you like it or not, it will be honest which to me is more important than if the color is nice or something like that. Rhonda has integrity which as I understand it, is not easy to find in a realtor these days. I feel extremely lucky to have found Rhonda Stanton to be my realtor and she will remain my realtor through good real estate times and bad.

We have used Rhonda for a rental property in the past, and for our recent home purchase, and can't say enough good things about her. She really knows her stuff and goes the extra mile to make sure you are happy with the transaction and understand all the steps along the way. For example, we had some communication issues with the seller's agent in our transaction that led to improper electrical work being done, so she wrote a letter to the agent’s broker to correct the issue for us that saved us money. We are extremely lucky to have found such a knowledgeable realtor and can sincerely recommend her for any real estate needs. She truly stands out among the rest.

I loved working with Rhonda. She has helped several of my family members buy and sell homes for years. She is very strait forward and has your back during the whole process. She always returned my phone calls, text messages or email in a timely matter. I would definitely recommend her when buying or selling a home.
